Our staff are trained to urge the needs of the community and are committed to active towards creating an environment which is inclusive for all. We have trained staff who aim to meet the health needs of the LGBTI community by providing quality protection and support. We aim to facilitate a cordial and supportive environment for those with a refugee or asylum seeker background to access quality health services and care. Our trained team of staff ensure that holistic and culturally sensitive care is provided to all our clients, aiming to face the health protection needs of refugee and asylum seekers. Manning ham Community Health Services works with people and agencies to improve the health, healthy being and access to health services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our community. Manning ham Community Health Services welcomes people from all cultures and we ensure good access to services by employing many bilingual staff, and also offering the use of interpreter services. We are qualified to provide an interpreter for most of our services. Community health centers were established in Australia in 1973 and enabled equity of access to health services for Australians, especially for those people who were unable to pay for health care. We also donate a number of social urge programs including the Men’s Shed, art therapy group, and music group. Services are offered as individual or family appointments, or group programs. Access to free interpreter services are available for maximum services. Health promotion is another urgent program delivered through community health. We also coordinate over 100 volunteers who produce services to the community including transport to health appointments, exercise group assistance, administrative assistance, and making weekly phone calls to community members looking for a gregarious ear. As a business, Manning ham Community Health Service operates in a dynamic environment responding to client and community needs. This enables us to bear the best conceivable services and programs to those maximum in need within our community. A management team, led by the CEO, manages more than 60 part-time and fulltime employees, ensuring the level running of daily operations of the health service. Providing comprehensive and integrated health and healthy being services for all members of our community. With a dedicated team of over 60 people of all ages, volunteers labor across a huge range of community and health care services providing more than 7,00 hours of service per annul. Our program is in need of volunteers to drive flimsy elderly people, people with mobility issues and people with disabilities to various medical appointments, recreational activities and leisure groups. We require people who are humane and patient, who enjoy driving, have some spare time and would like to contribute to their local community. Art links is an established social activity group of Manning ham Community Health Services Limited and provides members of the Manning ham Community to get together and encourage friendships, participate in art and craft projects, share a cuppa’ and have some fun. It might be as plain as telling us what you think of our waiting room or if you don’t like a fresh group fayer. Occupational Therapy Our Occupational Therapists s aid children improve their skill to function in everyday life at school, home, child care, kindergarten and play. A team approach to aid you to manage your diabetes. This program offers education and advice to aid manage diabetes. Individual advice and promote to manage your Diabetes. Manage diabetes with advice and promote with medications, meal planning, insulin and Blood Glucose Monitoring. A Dietitian is a health professional who has training, skills and knowledge about food, health and well being. They will labor with you to find ways that can assist you support, maintain or improve your health and well being. Our Dietitians can see individuals couples, families, parents and children, and people with their carers. The program works with both adults and young people with families affected by drug and alcohol use and with school and community groups. These are called the social determinants of health and includes factors such as food, transport, work, early child development and social inclusion. Health promotion is an approach to health and well being that aims to improve the health of our communities through action on these social determinants of health. We offer a range of mental health programs. This is a four week group program that provides the opportunity to learn and practice mindfulness meditation in a caring and supportive atmosphere. Our community Occupational Therapists yield a home based service for people who are finding it solid to manage the things that they want or need to do each day. Advice and information about community access, resources, supports and groups. Our Psychologists focus on helping children and their families work through challenges in a safe and supportive environment. Services include assisting clients with managing the following: Anyone can make an appointment to use this service referral from a health professional is not required. Our speech pathology service assists children aged from 0 to 12 years who have difficulties or delays with language ardor communication, including: The approach is team based and works with families within their community setting.
